Winslow school students of 1911 (from ancestry.com). They walked to school so there was no need for transportation (no buses). Boys in school cut wood for the stove so that solved the fuel problem. A small peach limb or small limber elm branch usually settled the matter of who was in charge of the school. Photo shows pics of Glenn Duncan and Dora Winn along with other students and their teacher.
