Snodgrass Risley's grandmother, were John Phillip Bradley (born
circa 1804 or 1806 in Rutherford County, North Carolina; died
circa 1864) married Nancy Johnson (born circa 1811 in White
County, Tennessee; died April 30, 1890) on 1830 or 1832 in
White County, Tennessee. Their children were:
1. Samuel Johnson Bradley (born January 27, 1833 near Big
Spring, White County, Tennessee). 2. Sarah Ann Caroline Bradley
(born March 22, 1834; died March 10, 1894) married Jones
0. Bradley on February 14, 1855. 3. Wineford Norton Bradley
(born January 20, 1836; died February 11, 1908) married William
James Snodgrass (born June 10, 1828; died May 11, 1882)
on December 28, 1855. 4. Thomas Walton Bradley (born July 28,
1837 near Big Spring). 5. Deina Elizabeth Bradley (born August
14, 1841). 6. Arminta Pickney Bradley (born April 13, 1843)
married James W. Cooper. 7. John Phillip Bradley (born
December 22, 1844) died January, 1880, Alice Swampshire. 8.
George Washington Bradley (born August 18, 1846). 9. Margaret
Jane Bradley (born July 22, 1850) married William Robinson.
10. Charles H. Bradley (born January 10, 1852; died before
1860). John Phillip Bradley's father was George Walton Bradley
(born 1764 in Warren County, North Carolina, died April 5,
1835 in Rutherford County, North Carolina). His mother was
Sara (Sally) Goodbread (born June 7, 1769 in Rutherford
County, North Carolina, died December 6, 1850 in White
County, Tennessee). They were married January 12, 1791.
George Walton Bradley's father was John Bradley (born circa
1718 in North Carolina, died June 24, 1778 in Tyson County,
North Carolina). Married his second wife Mary Ledbetter (born
circa 1740 in Brunswick County, Virginia; died circa 1825 in
Rutherford County, North Carolina) circa 1760. Her father and
mother were Richard Ledbetter II and Mary Walton. The father
of Sarah Sally Goodbread was Phillip Goodbread (born November
23, 1726 in Nordheim, Germany; died April 24, 1811 in
Rutherford County, North Carolina).
