Vernice McCamish

Vernice Reed

92, a resident of Morrow, Arkansas, went to be with her Lord on October 14, 2006 in Cane Hill, Arkansas. She was born August 31, 1914 at Morrow, Arkansas, the daughter of Melvin Thomas and Gaither Keck McCamish She attended the United Methodist Church in Morrow.

Vernice was married to Marvin B. Reed on September 3, 1933. He preceded her in death along with two sons, Curtis Reed and Donald Reed; four sisters Gladys Marie Pennell, Neva Lou McCratic, Neta Carrie McCamish and Octavia Reeca McCamish; three brothers, Argel McCamish, Leland McCamish and L.D. McCamish.

Survivors include one son, Ronald Reed and his wife, Barbara of Cane Hill, Arkansas; one daughter-in-law, JoAnn Reed of Morrow, Arkansas; seven grandchildren along with a number of great grandchildren and great-great grandchildren.

Funeral Service will be held Monday, October 16, 2006 - 1:00 P.M. at the Luginbuel Chapel Prairie Grove, Arkansas. Burial will follow at the Bethesda Cemetery near Morrow, Arkansas.

Family asks in lieu of flowers memorials be made to the United Methodist Church - 17734 Vineyard - Cane Hill, AR 72717.
