Maxine Baugh McNair
89, a resident of Rogers, Arkansas, passed away February 14, 2015 in Rogers. She was born September 14, 1925 at Cane Hill, Arkansas, the daughter of Ernest and Vena Reed Baugh.
Maxine was a member of the First United Methodist Church of Prairie Grove. She enjoyed needlework, reading and cooking for her family. Maxine met Charles shortly after WWII and it was love at first sight. They were engaged one week after their first date and married one month later, a marriage that lasted for fifty years. They enjoyed many hobbies, especially antiquing and horse racing.
She was preceded in death by her parents and husband Charles McNair.
Survivors include three daughters, Mary Ann Estes of Bentonville, Arkansas, Becky Wray and husband Curtis of Frisco, Colorado, and Pam McNair of Rogers, Arkansas; one son, Mike McNair and wife Miranda of Savannah, Georgia; eight grandchildren, David Estes and wife Tiffany, Mande Wray, Allison Wray, Matthew McNair, Kelsey McNair, Abigal Havlin,
Harrison Havlin, and Grayson Havlin; two great grandsons, Aidan Estes and Eli Estes.
A Memorial Service will be held Tuesday, February 17, 2015 - 10:00 A.M. at the First United Methodist Church in Prairie Grove with Curtis Wray Officiating.
In lieu of flowers memorials may be made to a charity of you choice.
