He married NANCY (NANNIE) BELL PHILLIPS September 29, 1891 in Crawford County, Arkansas, daughter of CHARLIE PHILLIPS and PERMILA SCHUYLER.

l Charles Ray Goldman stayed with his Uncle 'Bummer or A.P. (Allen Pomeroy Goldman) and his wife Nannie Phillips in California after his first tour of duty in the Army just after WWII was over. This is the line of Lou Gene Walton "Wyche". Nannie was her Great-Grandmother and her daughter, Gertie, was her maternal-Grandmother.
