Ross Calvin Reed

90, a long time resident of Stilwell, Oklahoma, passed away September 16, 2007 at his home in Stilwell. He was born June 25, 1917 at Morrow, Arkansas, the son of Joseph Hugh and Medda Eva Glidewell Reed.

He was a member of the First United Methodist Church in Stilwell, Oklahoma. Ross worked at the Reed's Hardware in Stilwell for 45 years before his retirement.

Ross was preceded in death by his first wife, Martha Cleo Seay Reed, and two brothers, Kay and Elmo Reed.

Survivors include his wife, Dorothy Cushing Reed of the home; one son, Connie Reed and his wife, Rachel of Springdale, Arkansas; two grandsons, Shawn and Eric Reed; two great grandchildren, Jack and Hannah Reed.

The family will receive friends Tuesday afternoon September 18, 2007 from 6:00 until 8:00 p.m. at the First United Methodist Church in Stilwell, Oklahoma.

Funeral Service will be held Wednesday, September 19, 2007 - 10:00 A.M. at the First United Methodist Church in Stilwell, with Barry Hayes Officiating. Burial will follow in Bethesda Cemetery near Morrow, Arkansas.
