Needs more research. If this is correct, Balaam's first wife, Keziah Tarkington, was still alive when he married Sally Childers. This would also make all but the first three children Sally's. According to MEB, Sally was underage when she married Balaam (consent was given by Thomas Hamblin, guardian).
