Alice Grace Hannah

Grace Alice Hannah Miller was the daughter of Thomas Alexander Hannah and Elizabeth Skelton Hannah. According to a genealogy book prepared by the Hannah family Grace Alice Hannah Miller was born Nov. 12th, 1868 (even though 1867 was put on the tombstone)and her birth place is a bit sketchy because they said she might have been born in Arkansas. However the original family came from Tennessee. She shows up on an 1870 Census in Washington county, AR being 1 year old. The epitah on her tombstone says : She died as she lived--A Christian. I have interviewed people who knew her or the oral history in our family is that she was a very loving and kind woman. I have a photo copy of a picture of her and she appears to be a small petite woman. Oral history has told me she was a hard worker and she had to have been to have 10 children. Loving wife and loving mother.
