WEST, Edgar Lee - {from The Prairie Grove Herald) Edgar Lee West,

eldest son of Mr. W.E. West and his wife, Sallie Elizabeth West, died at the

Baptist Hospital in Muskogee Friday, June 16 and the body was brought

here and buried in the Prairie Grove cemetery Saturday afternoon, the

fimeral service being conducted by Rev. F.A. Lark. About 30 days ago Edgar

contracted typhoid fever and his mother, who was summoned to his bedside,

had him removed from his home to the hospital. [The Springdale News
