89, of Wedington died Feb. 23, 2009, at Washington Regional Medical Center in Fayetteville. She was born Feb. 27, 1919, in Wedington to Alfred Dees and Nora Spears Dees.
She was a homemaker and a member of Weddington Methodist Church and Weddington Quilting Club.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Wesley Oxford, and son, Phillip Oxford.
Survivors include a son, David Oxford of Fayetteville; two grandchildren; three great-grandchildren.
Services will be at 2 p.m. today at Backstrom-Pyeatte Funeral Home in Siloam Springs. The Rev. Joe Hall will officiate. Burial will be in Weddington Cemetery.
