(9) JAMES WATSON EDMISTON, (Moses James, 2 etc.), was born 24 Oct. 1801, 1n Tennessee died 14 Aug. 1854 1n Washington Co., Ark. married 2l June 1838 to Haney Taylor, born l817 in Tenn. J died 19 Apr. 1874 1n Washington Co., Ark.
On 22 Aug. 1853, they sold a tract of three acres to Peyton c. Sawyers. The witnesses were Henry G. McLaughlin and Wm. W. Brownlee.
On 3 Nov. 1859, she was appointed guardian for Moses, George, and John Edmiston
