RAMEY, Mrs. Henry {JOHNSON} – {from Sulphur City} It is with sorrowful hearts that we learn of the death of Mrs. Henry Ramey of Johnson. It is only a few months since a little boy died. May God in tender mercy be with the grief stricken husband and children and may they live so as to meet those loved ones in a brighter world. Mrs. Ramey was a member of the Baptist church. She lived here a few years ago and has many friends who will be made sad on account of her death. {from Johnson} Mrs. Henry Ramey died Thursday morning. Mrs. Ramey had been in ill health since last autumn when the family all had the typhoid fever. She was 39 years of age and a husband and seven children are left to mourn the loss of her cheery presence and loving care. Rev. Elmer Rice conducted the funeral services Friday evening at Shady Grove church and then she was laid to rest in the adjacent cemetery near her father, Jacob Q. Johnson.[The Springdale News - Springdale, Washington County, Arkansas - April 15, 1910]
