Mrs. Johnnie Pauline Drake, 77, of Rt. 1, Box 37, Huntsville, Ark., died March 30, 1992, at Saint Mary-Rogers Memorial Hospital in Rogers. She was born May 7, 1914, at Clifty, the daughter of Jasper Newton and Annie Lane Cook. She was a member of Pilgrim's Rest Freewill Baptist Church. She was preceded in death by her husbands, James G. Guthrie on July 1, 1947, and Loren H. Drake on Aug. 22, 1991.
Survivors include one brother, Elmer Cook of Huntsville; two stepsons, Bobby Drake of Huntsville and Jimmy Drake of Tucson, Ariz.; two stepdaughters, Mrs. Roberta Fredrickson and Mrs. Betty Haywood, both of Huntsville; several stepgrandchildren; several nephews and nieces.
Services were held at 2 p.m. Wednesday, April 1, in the chapel of Brashears Funeral Home with the Rev. Butch Bolinger officiating. Interment was in the Huntsville Cemetery under the direction of Brashears Funeral Home.
Pallbearers were Jack Cook, David Cook, Butch Stroud, James Laird, James Harrison and Dennis Hamilton.
