George Austin Brock

George Austin Brock, born September 23, 1877, Van Buren, Arkansas, married in 1898 to Theora Docia Cate. She was born August 17, 1879, Prairie Grove, Arkansas, to James and Elizabeth (Rutherford) Cate.

They moved to Stilwell, Oklahoma after 1911. They also lived at Fort Smith, Sapulpa and Pawhuska, Oklahoma before moving back to West Fork in 1932.

Their children were

Pansy Manila, married Lloyd Hightower;

Marvie Ellen, married Lee Ketcher, lived in Stilwell;

Millie May, married John Catcher, lived in Stilwell;

James Carthel "Banjo", married Clara Whistler and Beulah (McHaffie) Gamble;

Loyd Austin and George Loy, twins, (last to be born in West Fork), married-Loyd to Ethel Pittman and Loy to May Goodson, both in Wynona;

Gladys Lucretia, married Leo Stanton, lives in Wynona;

Walter, born and died in 1919, Stilwell. Austin and Theora died while living in Stilwell, Oklahoma. Austin's sister, Minnie, requested to be buried by him and so she is.

They are in Charlie Reese Cemetery near Peavine, Oklahoma.
