John Daniel Raphael Phillips, 19, of Booneville, Arkansas died December 18, 2012. He was a member of Our Lady of the Assumption Catholic Church in Booneville. Daniel was a seminarian for the Diocese of Little Rock and attended Holy Trinity Seminary. He was a member of the Knights of Columbus Council #3787. Daniel was active in Catholic Youth Ministry and in 4-H. Daniel touched many lives with his faithful witness.
He is survived by his parents, John and Catherine Phillips; one sister, Jean Phillips of Booneville; three brothers, David Phillips of Fort Smith, Matthew Phillips and Luke Phillips both of Booneville; and grandmother, Barbara Robertson.
Preceding him in death were his grandparents, Wallace and Jean Phillips.
Rosary will be held at Our Lady of the Assumption Catholic Church at 6:00 p.m. Thursday, December 20, 2012. Visitation will follow the Rosary service.
Funeral Mass will be at Saint Benedict Catholic Church in Subiaco at 2:00 p.m. Friday, December 21, 2012 with burial at Saint Benedict Catholic Cemetery under the direction of Booneville Funeral Service.
