I have fond memories of Betty. There was a time when we became good friends and I was even fortunate to enjoy a few "Taco Nights" at Betty and Gail's house. My deepest condolences to her family and friends. I know she will be missed by all who loved her.

Betty taught me to drive-"Drive like a man"; admire our mutual shapely legs; immersed me as a teenager in the Mitchell clan and Mama Lucy's biscuits; treated me and my best friend, Cece, to a week in Winters, Fresno, Sanger and Selma; laughing at my falsies popping to the surface while swimming at Avocado Lake; loving my Daddy, Mother and baby brother, Mikus, and me. Most of all, living a Godly life and praying for and with me many, many times the past 55 years. I miss her right now, knowing I can't call her, but when I hit heaven, we are gonna have a hoot!

gail and family- so sorry for your loss. Words cannot express how much Betty meant to me and the Lincoln Public Library. She was a tireless volunteer who always had a smile on her face. She did a boring but very important job for us. Without her we couldn't have done our job. Felt blessed to have known her.
