Bobby Don Williams

89, a resident of Dutch Mills, passed away Sunday, August 7, 2022 at his home. He was born June 19, 1933 in Duncan, Oklahoma, the son of Ernest Byron and Lou Anna (Simmons) Williams.

Bobby was a long time resident of Dutch Mills where he lived for 60yrs. He left Oklahoma for Amarillo Texas where he was stationed with the Air Force. When he was released from the service he went to work for the Police Department. In 1958 he received the officer of the year award. After leaving the police department he went to work for a Drive Inn where he learned all he could about the restaurant business. He moved his family to Arkansas in 1962 and shortly after he built the Vic Mon Drive Inns in Fayetteville and Springdale. After a few years he sold them and had several more business ventures before retiring including a restaurant supply warehouse, amusement equipment supplier, he operated a saw mill, rebuilt starters and alternators and worked on his farm raising cattle. As he got older he was content just being at home on the farm that he loved.

He was preceded in death by his parents; wife Georgia Marchita Williams; brothers, Ernest Byron Williams Jr. and Jewell Bradford Williams; sister, Mary Alice Williams.

Survivors include three daughters, Mary Alice Epley and husband James, Jachita Ann Curry and husband Tony, and Donna Marie Cross; six grandchildren Sheila Ann Brewer, Jamie Leann Reed, Miranda Rae Kester, Erin Reyna Selby, Casey Dawn Spatz,  and Eric Michael Cross; Thirteen great-grandchildren, Justin, Blake, Sydney, Emily, Kyndalle, Sterling, Lincoln, Autumn, Payton, Steve, Chase, Nicholas and Emma; great-great grandchildren, Gracie and Hudson.

The family will receive friends Monday, August 15, 2022, 6:00 PM - 7:00 PM at the Luginbuel Funeral Home.

Funeral Service will be held 10:00 AM Tuesday, August 16th, 2022, at Luginbuel Chapel in Prairie Grove, Arkansas. Burial will be in the Dutch Mills Cemetery. No graveside service will be held at the cemetery.
