Clara Mae "Caral" Riley

76, a resident of Prairie Grove, Arkansas, passed away February 1, 2015 in Fayetteville. She was born January 20, 1939 in Houston, Texas, the daughter of William Herbert and Lillie Mae Beard Sharp.

She was a lifetime member of the Beta Sigma Phi, a musician, piano instructor, and played the organ, saxophone, accordion, and clarinet. Clara volunteered with the Boy Scouts of America, serving as a Cub Scout Den mother, day camp leader, and Silver Beaver recipient (Highest National Award for a Volunteer), three district awards of merit in three different states. She also served the PTA, Band Boosters, and a Classroom Mom for Multiple Grades. She played for the Cameron University Marching Band, 1st chair saxophone while her oldest son played trumpet in the same band.

She was preceded in death by her father, mother and grandson, Preston Wayde Riley.

Survivors include her husband, Billy W. Riley of the home; four sons, Glen George Newsom of McAlester, Oklahoma, Billy Wayne Riley II and his wife, Melissa, of Loveland, Colorado, Bobby Wayde Riley and his wife, Ivonne, of Live Oak, Florida, and Bryan Warde Riley and wife, Tara, of Kailua-Kona, HI; one daughter, Mary Helen Peter and husband Preston of Fayetteville, Arkansas; one brother, Herbert LeRoy "Lee" Sharp of and Letha of Prairie Grove, Arkansas; thirteen grandchildren and three great- grandchildren.

The family will receive friends Thursday afternoon from 6:00 until 7:00 p.m. at the Luginbuel Chapel in Prairie Grove.

Funeral Service will be held Friday, February 6, 2015 - 2:00 P.M. at the First Baptist Church in Prairie Grove with General H.D. McCarty officiating. Burial will be in the Prairie Grove Cemetery.

Pallbearers will be Shawn Fidler, John Parker, Jeff Parker, Gary Sharp, Steven Sharp, and Anthony Sharp.

Honorary pallbearers will be Mike Fidler and Ed Smith.
