Tributes

Denny was my closest cousin and best childhood friend in California. He cheerfully "ate" my mud pies at his folks home. We wore down several stick horses, riding the Fullerton "Range", shooting toy guns, with a" Hi Ho Silver" & "Dis way Deedee, dis way" He was a dear and caring man, with a giving heart. Rest in the peaceful arms of Jesus, Dear Denny. We love you.

As a child I grew up with Denny in California. Almost every weekend the family would drive north, Brookhurst from Huntington Beach to Fullerton. Those memories are fresh in my mind as if they were yesterday. It was a sad day when Aunt Eula, Uncle Wiley and Denny moved away. It is another sad day to loose Dennis. He always had a smile for me.

I have fond memories of going to Fullerton "up on the Hill" to Aunt Eula, Uncle Wiley and Denny's house. We had a lot of good times playing outside for hours on end. It was sad to see them move. However, I have been able to see him a few times over the years when I got back there. And what is so sweet about Denny, is that he was so prevalent on FB. He always made comments to any family member, especially my son Chris and daughter, Krystal. They would respond to him and almost felt like they knew him. I have met Kim a few times and am so thankful that he had her in his life!! God be with you Kim!! Our prayers are with you and know that he is in heaven with Wiley and Eula and all the other loved ones. Love you Denny!! Gaye
