Geneva C. Branch

85, a resident of Prairie Grove, Arkansas, passed away June 5, 2006, at Fayetteville, Arkansas. She was born April 15, 1921 in the Odel Community south of Prairie Grove, the daughter of Bert and Faye Rose Cole.

She attended the New Sulphur Free Will Baptist Church. Geneva was a substitute teacher in the Hubbard Community School. She retired from Levi Strauss Co., in the early 80's. She married James Henry Branch on March 3, 1941.

She was preceded in death by her husband, James Henry Branch; three brothers, Troy, Lawrence, and Edward Cole; one sister, Melba Cole.

Survivors include four sons, Howard Branch of Springdale, Arkansas, Jimmy, Johnny and Roger Branch all of Prairie Grove, Arkansas; One daughter, Norma Jean Hooten of Fayetteville, Arkansas; two brothers, Leroy Cole of Westville, Oklahoma, and Othel Cole of Alaska; two sisters, Frances Rose of Owasso, Oklahoma, and Agnes Dobbs of Prairie Grove, Arkansas; eleven grandchildren and twenty great grandchildren.

Visitation will begin Wednesday from 10:00 a.m. until 8:30 p.m. at the Luginbuel Chapel

Funeral Service will be held Wednesday, June 7, 2006 - 2:00 P.M. at the Luginbuel Chapel in Prairie Grove with Bro. Glen Faulkner officiating. Burial will be in the Prairie Grove Cemetery.
