Joyce Ann Hatchett

74 a resident of Farmington, passed away April 23, 2013 at Washington Regional Medical Center in Fayetteville. She was born June 24, 1938 in Clearwater, California, the daughter of Isaac Carl and Nadine Rothrock Shook.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Neal Hatchett.

Survivors include her daughter, Kelly Hatchett of Farmington, her son Norm Hatchett of Fayetteville; her granddaughter, Ayla Hatchett of Fayetteville; one brother, Wayne Shook of Whittier, California and one sister, Phyllis Chaffee of Santa Barbara, California; numerous nieces, nephews and cousins.

Funeral service will be held Friday, April 26, 2013 - 2:00 P.M. at Luginbuel Chapel in Prairie Grove with burial in Beaty Cemetery in Lincoln, Arkansas.

Pallbearers will be: Bobby Standley, Kirk Chaffee, Scott Ramsey, Tony Villines, Lee Anne Furrh

Joyce was a sweetheart, always pleasant and flashing her big smile. I served as her Postmaster for many years, later becoming a vendor when she opened a classy and chic treasure market near Summers. I think she was a great lady.
