Leroy Taylor
75, a resident of Prairie Grove, passed away Tuesday, February 7, 2017 at Willard Walker Hospice Home in Fayetteville. He was born July 26, 1941 in West Fork, the son of William Edward and Dovie Rowena (Hodges) Taylor.
He was preceded in death by his parents, one brother Samuel "Bob" Taylor and one sister Ina Mae Vogt.
Survivors include his wife, Connie Taylor; son, Gary Taylor of Mass.; two daughters Patty Schlesener of Farmington and Sandra Bartsch of Fayetteville; three brothers, John H. Taylor and wife Darleen of Fayetteville, Dwight Taylor and wife Beverly of Rutledge, Tennessee, and Jackie Taylor and wife Joyce of Springdale, and one sister Shirley Bowman of Knoxville, Tennessee; six grandchildren, seven great grandchildren and a host of nieces, nephews and cousins.
The family will receive friends Sunday, February 12, 2017 6:00-8:00 PM at Luginbuel Funeral Home.
Funeral service will be held 10:00 AM Monday, February 13th, 2017, at Luginbuel Chapel in Prairie Grove. Burial will be in the Zinnamon Cemetery, there will be no graveside services held.

Uncle Leroy was always the uncle that made me laugh the most. His sense of humor was always there. My fondest memory of him has always been the two summers I worked for him roofing houses. He always kept me laughing, plus he is only person I've ever seen who could carry two bundles of shingles over his shoulder and up a ladder but never touch the ladder with his hands. I never understood how he could do that. RIP Uncle Leroy ... say hello to Mom and Dad for me.

I was very young but I will always remember going to Uncle Leroy and Aunt Aquila to play games. They had a cellar out the back door and as kids we thought that was so neat. They would let us play and get into just about anything. lol Leroy was always good to us kids. Our thoughts and prayers go out to his family and all those whose lives he impacted.
