Obituary

Loretta Kay Cole

65, a resident of Stilwell, Oklahoma, passed away July 21, 2007 in Stilwell, Oklahoma. She was born September 2, 1941 at Hackett, Arkansas, the daughter of Paul and Estie Smedley Hodges.

Loretta was a member of the Sanders Baptist Church of Christy, Oklahoma. She was a homemaker and her family was her greatest love. Much of her time was spent raising her children, visiting relatives and friends. She loved all kinds of animals and had many of them over a lifetime. Her hobby was raising flowers and plants. When the grandchildren came along, she was surrounded by the great love of her life, little children. Before she had her own, she always had little ones around her, caring for her nephews, nieces, and cousins.

She was preceded in death by her parents, two brothers, Carl Hodges, and Ralph Hodges; three grandsons, Robert Wayne Cole, Aaron Mitchell Cole, and Austin Lee Roy Cole.

Survivors include her husband of forty-nine years, Lee Roy Cole of the home; three sons, Dennis Cole and wife Karen of Summers, Arkansas, Robert Cole of Westville, Oklahoma, and Bert Cole of West Siloam Springs, Oklahoma; one daughter, Barbara Stidham and husband Johnny of Stilwell, Oklahoma; one sister, Barbara Gray of Canehill, Arkansas; eight grandchildren Kevin Cole, Chris Cole, Michael Cole, Tristin Stanley, Dustin Stanley, Staci Ford, Amanda Cole, and Megin Stanley; two great grandchildren, Lauren Cole and Lucas Ford.

Visitation will begin Tuesday from 10:00 a.m. until 8:30 p.m. at the Luginbuel Chapel.

Funeral Service will be held Wednesday, July 25, 2007 - 2:00 P.M. at the Luginbuel Chapel, Prairie Grove, Arkansas, with brother Glen Faulkner officiating. Burial will be in the Beaty Cemetery Lincoln, Arkansas.
