Nellie Frances Pitts
93, a resident of Siloam Springs, Arkansas went to be with her Lord on November 6, 2009 at Gravette Hospital in Gravette, Arkansas. She was born April 19, 1916 in Lincoln, Arkansas, the daughter of N. James “Jimmy” and Nancy Sallee Myers.
She attended the House of Prayer Holiness Church; She was employed by Simmons Industries for 27 years, volunteer at the Senior Citizens Center where she was a member of the Ladies Quilting Group, Sunday School teacher and did evangelistic work in various churches; -
She was preceded in death by her husband, Charles "Noah" Pitts; and one sister, Pearl Bradley and three brothers, Alvin Myers, Elmer Myers and Luther Myers.
Survivors include one son, Charles Pitts and his wife Carol of Siloam Springs, Arkansas; two daughters, LaVerne Sanderson of Oklahoma City, Oklahoma and Betty Baker and her husband Bill of Siloam Springs, Arkansas; one brother, James Myers of Springdale, Arkansas; one sister, Marie Roy of Lincoln, Arkansas; six grandchildren, Kevin McGarrah, Annell and husband Ronnie Cochran, Francine Sanderson, Cindy and husband Keith Lyons, Jeremy and wife Teresa Pitts, and Justin and wife Traci Pitts; thirteen great grandchildren, Anthony McGarrah, Nathan Cochran, Ryan Cochran, Caitlyn Cleek, Amanda Cleek, Brant Lyons, Emily Pitts, Hannah Pitts, Joshua Pitts, Rebekah Pitts, Jeremiah Pitts, Rylee Pitts, and Gavin Pitts; one great great-grandchild, Eden Cochran.
Family will receive friends on Sunday afternoon from 2:00-3:00 P.M. at Luginbuel Funeral Home in Prairie Grove, Arkansas.
Funeral Service will be held Monday, November 9, 2009 - 11:00 A.M. at Luginbuel Chapel in Prairie Grove, Arkansas. Burial will be in the Beaty Cemetery near Lincoln, Arkansas, there will be no graveside services held.
