Tributes

Myself and my ex-husband owned Midway Wrecker Service for many years and Rex was one of our employees. He was without a doubt, one of the best drivers I have ever known. Honest and caring, he was always ready to help. I had seen Rex on several occassions over the years and he always had a sh$# eating grin and tale to tell! He will be greatly missed and I am proud to say I was his friend.

I met Rex when we were both 14. We became fast friends and spent many hours fishing, swimming, roaming the woods and doing things young teenage boys hope their mothers never find out about. As often happens as people mature, we went in different directions and we lost touch. I last saw Rex when I was in my early twenties when he and his wife came to visit me in Mena Ar. One of the reasons he looked me up was to introduce me to his brand new son. You could tell by the way his face beamed that he knew this child was the best thing he had ever done. It saddens me that I lost touch with Rex and to find out he was taken from this world too soon. While looking through the photos posted of Rex, his family and friends, you can see how much he loved them and was loved in return. Rex old friend, you will be missed.

I had the pleasure of meeting Rex in 1997 when I married Steve Morgan. I knew instantly that I had just met a friend for life and a good soul. Rex was always fun to be around and always had a good joke and a good "tale" to tell. I know Rex is watching over us now and is a gruarding angel. His love and memories will live forever. I'm sorry I could not make it to the services due to illness. Please have Alma reach me my number is 839-8259. I will do what I can to help. With love Geneva Morgan Tate

I know that you are now looking down on all of us no longer having to deal with the daily issues, but yet your memory lives on. I have fond memories of the many times we rode together, partied, or had just a cup of coffee. As I sit here and reminisce the days gone by the only thing that comes to mind is "Blue Boy". " Blue Boy" was definantly you. You were the only brother that ever rode any of my scooters. Live Free and someday our journeys will pass again. P.S. Your in my next book.
