Tributes

Our victory is in Jesus Christ and Veneta found victory. She was a blessing to me to share her love with me and to let me see courage facing the unknown. However as I have read our Lord and Savior owns the land on both sides of the river.

I knew Veneta for years as both a co-worker and friend. We shared so many heart to heart talks and she was a blessing in my life. I miss her so much. She felt like a family member to me. We lost touch a few years before she passed away. I didn’t know she was very sick. Oddly enough I became diagnosed with Lyme as well after her death and I wish she had been around to so I could share her burden with her as I now know how much she must have truly suffered. But I also know what she meant now when she said only by the grace of God had she been carried through. That is absolutely true. I believe she had the faith of a child just as Jesus said we all need in order to enter the Kingdom of Heaven. I can see her smiling face and joyful heart free of pain now. I hope for the day I will see her again in the presence of our Holy Father in Heaven and only Son Jesus. I am so thankful for her life and sweet, caring spirit.
