Obituary

Walter Bruce Napier

Age 86, a resident of Greenland, Arkansas, passed away Sunday, April 14, 2024 at Circle of Life Hospice Home in Springdale, Arkansas. He was born May 7, 1937 in Stilwell, Oklahoma, the son of Jack and Margaret (Deerman) Napier.

Bruce was a member of Liberty Eighty Six Church in Strickler, which he loved very much. He had a great love for his family and horses. Bruce always told us "the good Lord has always been with me". We will always carry his memory in our hearts. He will be deeply missed but we can find comfort in knowing he is at home with the Lord.

He was preceded in death by his parents, a daughter-in-law Renete Napier, one grandson and one great granddaughter.

Survivors include four sons Jerry Napier and wife Kristie of West Fork, Donnie Napier and wife Connie of West Fork, Lonnie Napier of Fayetteville, and Timmy Napier and fiancee Teena also of Fayetteville; one daughter Beverly napier and spouse Lee of Greenland; one brother James Napier; one sister Judy Hensen both of Westville, Oklahoma; seventeen grandchildren, twenty two great grandchildren, one great-great grandson and numerous nieces and nephews.

Memorial service will be held Saturday, April 20, 2024 - 11:00 A.M. at the Liberty Eighty Six Church in Strickler with lunch to follow service.

Bruce was laid to rest in the Friendship Cemetery in West Fork.
