Obituary

Warren LaVerne Bevier

Age 84, a resident of Prairie Grove, went to be with his Lord and Savior on Monday, November 20, 2017 at his home. He was born April 30, 1933 in Weld County, Colorado, the son of Lawrence Warren Bevier and Mildred (Rundall) Bevier.

Warren was a past Elder of the Prairie Grove Christian Church.

He was preceded in death by his parents, two sisters, Vivian Sweeney and Evelyn Ginther; three brothers, Louis Bevier, Norman Bevier and Kenneth Bevier; his daughter Michele Bevier and one great grandson Logan Leftwich.

Survivors include his wife of 66 years Marjorie Pearl Hawks Bevier; three daughters Kathleen Alumbaugh and husband Don of Mound City, Kansas, Jana Nichols and husband Tom and Julie Grey all of Prairie Grove; his sister Lurline Rossiter and husband Bob of San Marcos, California; three grandchildren Brian James Gilhousen and wife Cayce, Andrew Bevier Schafer and Kailie Renee Schafer; one great granddaughter Macie Grace Leftwich and numerous nieces and nephews.

Family will receive friends on Friday evening from 6:00-7:00 P.M. at Luginbuel Funeral Home.

Funeral Service will be held 10:00 AM Saturday, November 25th, 2017, at Prairie Grove Christian Church in Prairie Grove, . Burial will be in the Prairie Grove Cemetery, there will be no graveside services held.

In lieu of flowers memorials may be made to the Prairie Grove Christian Church or Prairie Grove Senior Center (Meals on Wheels).

We are both saddened (for us) and joyful to hear that Warren has gone home to be with the Lord. He was a very special part of our lives and will be deeply missed. Marge, Jana, Julie and the entire family, you are in our prayers.
