Imogene Myers Whitmire

88, a resident of Siloam Springs, Arkansas, passed away October 18, 2006 at West Siloam Springs, Oklahoma. She was born April 9, 1918 near Prairie Grove, Arkansas, the daughter of Billy and Edna Beaty Moore.

She was preceded in death by her husbands, Chris Myers and William Whitmire, Three brothers, Alvin Eugene Moore, Billy Moore and Claude Moore; one step-daughter, Tootie Callaway.

Survivors include one son, Billy Myers and his wife, Darlene of Colcord Oklahoma; one step-son, Billy Whitmire of Overton, Texas; two step-daughters, Tiny Sims of Amarillo, Texas, and Joey Cortinas of Eagan, Minnesota; two sisters, Rita Childress of Lincoln, Arkansas, and Nina Grant of Farmington, Arkansas; five grandchildren, seven step-grandchildren and a number of great-grandchildren and great-great grandchildren.

The family will receive friends Friday afternoon from 6:00 until 7:00 p.m. at the Luginbuel Chapel in Prairie Grove, Arkansas.

Funeral Service will be held Saturday, October 21, 2006 - 10:00 A.M. at the Luginbuel Chapel with Gary Davis and Rick Reed officiating. Burial will follow at the Summers Cemetery. Honorary Pallbearers will be Joey Huffaker. Jason Underhill, Marvin Risley, and Ray Braly.
