Cheryl and Jessica So sorry to hear about Don. Don was an old friend and I was always proud of him and his many accomplishments. Don was very good at anything he intended to do, family , social work, banking, or hunting with the guys. I will always appreciate him approving my first substantial business loan when others wouldn’t. May our Lord comfort you at this difficult time.

I am so saddened to learn of Don's passing. Your family was always so kind to me. Jim passed away 14 years ago, and a year later I moved to Kentucky. I imagine you learned that Cheryl Rice passed away earlier this year. I remember "the double Sherrolls/Cheryls." I still use an Easter bunny from Jessica that she gave me when I was her Bible Class teacher. Walker is a great name for their son. My sincere prayers for all your family. Love, Linda MacDonald

I met Don at a financial analysis workshop decades ago held at Worthen Bk in Little Rock. In that week, Don and I were on the same team, and in that brief time became friends. I worked at City National Bk in Fort Smith, and we stayed in touch for yrs. He was a special man, and I thank God for allowing us to meet.

Dan’s passing was devastating news. We first met many years ago through the Arkansas Executive Forum. To me, Don defined the words, gentlemen, kind, and competent. That is a rare combination of qualities. He will be missed by those who were closest to him, but also by those of us in his general community of friends and associates.
