Leslie (Les) Elbert Bartholomew

93 a resident of Kansas City, Missouri, peacefully passed away on Saturday, August 10, 2024. Les was born December 11. 1930 in Strickler, Arkansas and was preceded in death by his father Elbert Leslie Bartholomew, mother Laura May (Jones) Bartholomew, sister Cleo McCuen, brothers Tince Bartholomew and Gerald Bartholomew, grandson, Chris Bartholomew, and Suzanne Bartholomew.

After graduating from high school, he was drafted in the U.S. Army and served in the Korean War. He received his Associate of Science degree in Electronics, Radio and Television Technology at Central Technical Institute, Kansas City, Missouri in 1955. He worked for Trans World Airlines from 1956 to 1992.

Les leaves two sisters, Wanda Frazier of Prairie Grove, Arkansas and Avis Bailey of Springdale, Arkansas, three daughters and one son, Julie Randolph, Karen Bollinger, Larry Bartholomew and Carol Moon, two granddaughters, Amy Randolph and Stacie Pruett, four great-grandchildren, Elizabeth, Abigail, Zachary, and Mackenzie.
