Lorine Francis Doss

Lorine Francis Doss, 81, a resident of Prairie Grove, Arkansas, passed away Sunday, April 12, 2026 in Fayetteville, Arkansas. She was born January 18, 1945 in Elm Springs, Arkansas, the daughter of William Calvin and Mattie (Wilkinson) Nickels.

She is preceded in death by her parents and husband Cofford Jenkins Doss and four sisters, Bertha Reynolds, Verna Greenlee, Mary Bayley, and Dorothy Osborn.

She is survived by three sons, William Doss of Prairie Grove, AR, Bobby Doss of Prairie Grove, AR and Roy Doss and wife Diana of Prairie Grove, AR; two grandchildren, Andrew Doss and Fiance Cheyenne, Anna Hudges and husband Steven; 2 great-grandchildern, Derek Cagle and Aynsley Jo Hudges; and four siblings, Ruth Carmicheal, Maxine Weese, Calvin Nickels, and Edward Nickels. As well as numerous nieces and nephews.

The family will receive friends at the Luginbuel Funeral Home in Prairie Grove, AR, from 1:00 to 2:00 pm on Thursday, April 23, 2026 prior to the funeral service.

Funeral Service will be held at Luginbuel Chapel in Prairie Grove, AR, Thursday at 2:00 pm April 23, 2026. Burial will be in the Sunset Cemetery in Winslow, Arkansas. There will be no graveside services. The family will remain after to visit with family and friends.
