To all of my dad's family and friends: My father was one of a kind. And man do I mean "one of a kind". He lived his life by very few rules and they were certinly always his own. He was always the life of the party, and often the last to leave! He faced many hardships and challaenges in his life. He would be the first to tell you he had made mistakes along the way. But, he loved every second of it. And those hardships, challenges, and even the mistakes have made all of us the wonderful, strong, people we have grown to be. My mother was his high school sweetheart and often the silent supporter who proudly stood behind him.In the last years of his life, his grandchildren; Blake, Alexis, Mika, and Christopher worshipped the water he walked on. I was blessed to be able to spend my dad's last days at his hospital bedside. And can tell you his partying spirit never faultered. My mother was able to grant his last request to bring him home, where he could pass with his family at his side. My family and I want to thank you all for your loving thoughts, prayers, and kind deeds.

I have very fond memories of my Uncle Matt. When I was a child he would sometimes wait for me at my elementry school and walk me home. He would spend the night on the frontroom floor and let me wake him up and he would watch cartoons saturday mornings lol! Your right Kristy he was "One of a kind," and I will always love him.
