Paul "Hugh" Richardson
Age 91, a resident of West Fork, Arkansas, passed away Monday, January 8, 2024 at Washington Regional Medical Center in Fayetteville, Arkansas. He was born February 10, 1932 in Strickler, Arkansas, the son of Wiley Burton and Leona Opal (Paulk) Richardson.
Hugh served in the United States Navy for fourteen years, where he completed his HVAC R mechanic certification. He continued working in the HVAC field for 60 years. He was a loving family man and loved to be outdoors especially up in the woods on his tractor. He was known to refer to himself as "mean and cranky" but rarely was he ever known to show himself as such.
He was preceded in death by his parents, his wife Lois Richardson, one daughter Paula Bibbee, one grandson Jimmy Richardson, four siblings Fern Shea, Minnie Burnett, Iva Sue Underhill, Lester Dale Richardson, and one great granddaughter Saylor Grace Gragg.
Survivors include daughter Lisa Gragg and husband Rick, and daughter Jennifer Arrington and husband Jeff; one brother W.B. Richardson; one sister-in-law Mary McCann; granddaughter Savanna, grandson Darrick and wife Caitlin, with great grandson Baylor and Bowen, grandson Justin and wife Kaitlyn, great granddaughter Edith, granddaughter Jordan, grandson Jeremy and wife Sydney, grandson Jayton, and granddaughter Jewlya; he will be missed by all who loved him including numerous nieces, nephews, friends and his loving dog Shade.
Memorial service will be held 2:00 PM Friday, January 12th, 2024, at Luginbuel Chapel in Prairie Grove, Arkansas. Burial will be in the Billingsley Cemetery near Hogeye, Arkansas, there will be no graveside services held.
