Rainy, Damon, and family--I am so sorry I will not be able to attend tonight's visitation and tomorrow's service for Russell. My car had an unfortunate encounter with a deer last week! However, I have at least 50 years of very fond memories of all of you--family reunions, judging pageants and talent shows and Russell's beautiful voice singing solos in our church where I occasionally had the pleasure to accompany him on the piano. Your family's many years of service and dedication to Lincoln and the Apple Festival impacted so many, so positively. All of you worked so well as a team along with your dear mother and grandmother, Luedell. I miss her, too. My thoughts and prayers are with you!
