Barry F. Pyeatt, 74, of Fayetteville died Thursday, February 7, 2008 at Circle of Life Hospice in Springdale. He was born June 10, 1933 in Prairie Grove, Arkansas to Henry Lee Pyeatt and Polly M. Jones Pyeatt. He was a veteran having served in the US Army and was preceded in death by his parents, 3 brothers, Billy Pyeatt, Don Pyeatt and Peter Pyeatt and 2 sisters, Edyth Murphy and Polly Ruth Pixley. Survivors include a son and daughter-in-law, Pete and Pam Pyeatt of Springfield, MO; daughter and son-in-law, Connie and Don Petri of Bartow, FL; brother and his wife, Ron and Lucile Pyeatt of Seattle, WA; 2 sisters, Martha Sharp of Scottsdale, AZ, Maxine Williams of Tulsa, OK,; 3 grandchildren, Gabrielle, Jared and Ashley and a number of nieces and nephews. And, special friends and care givers Larry and Charlotte Maggard and family. A memorial service will be 2:00PM, Monday, February 11, 2008 at Beards Chapel with Dr. Bruce Baxter officiating. Private burial will be in Fayetteville National Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, the family requests that memorials be made to the American Legion Shelton Tucker Craft Post 27 for Boys State Program, 1195 S Curtis Ave Fayetteville, Arkansas 72701. The family will receive friends at Beards Chapel from 1:00PM till service till on Monday.
