Mary Lynn Hussell Age 80, a resident of Prairie Grove, Arkansas, passed away after a brief illness, Sunday, August 9, 2020 at Washington Regional Medical Center in Fayetteville, Arkansas. She was born September 1, 1939 in Fort Smith, Arkansas, the daughter of Leonard and Rachel (Geiger) Maxey. Lynn lived and worked in Washington DC and Virginia as a legal assistant until her retirement in 1993. After her husband Boone retired in 1994 they moved to Prairie Grove. Lynn volunteered for various organizations including the school, library, Life Ministries and was the coordinator of the local polling site. She also enjoyed playing bridge in the local bridge club and reading. She was preceded in death by her parents and one brother Billy Maxey. Survivors include her husband of 62 years Boone Hussell of Prairie Grove; one sister Eugenia "Binky" Maxey of Prairie Grove; her cousin Joe Geiger also of Prairie Grove. Memorial service will be held 10:00 AM Friday, August 14th, 2020, at Prairie Grove Cemetery Pavilion. In lieu of flowers memorials may be made the Billy Maxey Memorial Fund at any Arvest Bank.
