Billy Jack Battershell, age 55, of Atkins died Wednesday, October 22, 1986 at his home. He was a native of Marshall, AR, a self-employed car salesman and the son of the late Freeman and Agnes Horton Battershell. He is survived by his wife, Verlene Battershell, two sons, Ronnie Battershell of Springdale and Michael Battershell of Atkins. One daughter, Teresa Carr of Russellville: one sister, Vernell Wells of Springdale, and two granddaughters. Services were October 25 at Coffman Chapel at Marshall, AR.
