Donald Edgar Reed 77, a resident of Siloam Springs, Arkansas, passed away April 27, 2006 at Fayetteville, Arkansas. He was born August 31, 1928 at Qualls, Oklahoma, the son of Clyde Raymond and Ruth Elizabeth Bacon Reed. Donald was preceded in death by his first wife of 32 years, Margaret Waite Reed, eight brothers, Frank Reed, Bob Reed, Clyde Reed, George Reed, Clarence Reed, Charles Reed, Jack Reed and Grover Reed; two sisters, Mabel Pettit and Goldie Reed. The family will receive friends Sunday afternoon from 2:00 until 4:00 p.m. at the Church of Christ in Lincoln. Survivors include his wife of 24 years, Jacquelyn ?Jackie? Lanier Reed of the home; one daughter, Florence Elizabeth Reed Van Horn of Prairie Grove, Arkansas; two grandsons, Donald Simpson and Joe Simpson and his wife, Stacie; two great grandchildren, Katie and Gracie Simpson; two stepdaughters, Dawn D. Guthrie and Myla D. Phillips and her husband, Tommy; two step grandchildren, Trent and Tyler Phillips; three brothers, Albert Reed, Alfred "Shug" Reed and Harvey Reed; two sisters, Barbara Reed Atha and Minnie Reed Fielding; Funeral Service will be held Monday, May 1, 2006 - 9:00 A.M. at Luginbuel Chapel in Prairie Grove by Charles Cash with burial in Beaty Cemetery near Lincoln. Honorary Pallbearers will be Jim Reed, Jr. Reed, Lee Reed, Leslie Reed, Wesley Reed, Clayton Reed, Carlos Reed, Chuck Reed, Harvey Reed II, Jason Reed, Randy Atha, Phil Fielding, Clyde William Reed, William Pettit and Robert Earl Reed.
