Charles Dion Barnes, 50, a resident of Prairie Grove, Arkansas, passed away Sunday, May 7, 2017 in Fayetteville, Arkansas. He was born October 30, 1966 in Fayetteville, Arkansas, the son of Charles F. and Mary L. (Bradley) Barnes. Dion was and avid outdoorsmans and was very dedicated to his family. He was preceded in death by his parents; his grandparents Noah and Flora Bradley; his uncle and aunt Guy and Bula Sheperd. Survivors include his wife, Wendy Barnes; two daughters, Jenifer Austin and husband Chad and Jessika Barnes; one brother, Joe Barnes and wife Elisha; his granddaughter, Remington Austin; and one sister-in-law, Lori Pettit; niece and nephew Tyesha and Noah Barnes and many aunts, uncles and cousins. The family will receive friends Friday from 6:00 p.m. until 7:00 p.m. at the Luginbuel Chapel. Funeral Service will be held 2:00 PM Saturday, May 13th, 2017, at Prairie Grove Christian Church.
