Leatha Hite Age 92, a resident of Sapulpa, Oklahoma, passed away Tuesday, February 6, 2018 at her home. She was born June 4, 1925 in Cane Hill, Arkansas, the daughter of Clarence Morris and Cora Elizabeth (Birdwell) Smith. She was preceded in death by her parents, her husband Harold Hite, her daughter J Kay Hite Thuma, three sisters Auda Smith Carte, Jessie Smith Parker, Lena Smith and one brother Charles Vernon Smith. Survivors include two sons Danny Hite and wife Janice of Sapulpa, Oklahoma, and Randy Hite of Morrow, Arkansas; one sister Lou Verna Harrison of Ripon, California; six grandchildren Joretta Maxwell and husband David of Keifer, Oklahoma, Joel Hite and wife Cindy of Sapulpa, Oklahoma, Mona Lee Plagman and husband Dustin of Albany, Oregon, Christie Harris of Stilwell, Oklahoma, Nolan Hite of Conway, Arkansas, and JJ Thuma of Bella Vista, Arkansas; three honorary grandchildren Misty Reeves of Maumelle, Arkansas, Evan Maxwell of Keifer, Oklahoma and Dylan Plagman of Albany, Oregon and seven great grandchildren. The family will receive friends from 1:00-2:00 p.m. on Saturday, February 10, 2018 at Luginbuel Chapel in Prairie Grove, Arkansas with funeral service starting at 2:00 P.M.
