Stanford (Stan) Ross Ramey, age 68 of Malvern, Arkansas passed away at National Park Medical Center in Hot Springs, Arkansas on October 3, 2022. He was born February 16, 1954 in Prairie Grove, Arkansas, the son of Henry Clay and Mary Ellen (Jones) Ramey. He was preceded in death by his parents, four brothers: Bobby, Ben, David, and Danny Ramey; two sisters: Mary Ellen Ramey and Louise Villines; and step-daughter Shannon Steed. Survivors include his wife Sharon Ramey of Malvern; two sons: David Ramey of Los Angeles, California and Ross (Peanut) Ramey of Asheboro, North Carolina and step-son Jimmie Kisner of Hot Springs, Arkansas; two brothers: Bruce Ramey of West Fork, Arkansas and Alan Ramey of Tontitown, Arkansas; four sisters: Betty Jones of Santa Fe, New Mexico, Robbie Middlebrook of Prairie Grove, Arkansas, Pam Watkins of Lowell, Arkansas and Janet Hammer of Greenland, Arkansas; six grandchildren and four great-grandchildren. Stan was a retired auto technician (mechanic) and long-haul truck driver. He liked working on anything from a sewing machine to a backhoe. One of his hobbies was working with his Kubota tractor, whether it be building a pond or grading the gravel road. He also enjoyed camping, fishing, and floating the Spring River.
