Barbara Lea Gibson Wright 65 a resident of Port Townsend, Washington, passed away September 11, 2012 at her home. She was born August 11, 1947 in Battle Creek, Michigan, the daughter of James Eugene and Frances Waite Gibson. Barbara Lea attended the University of Arkansas at Fayetteville. She was a member of the Daughters of the Confederacy and the Port Townsend, Washington Historical Society and excelled at Historic Performance. She was also a talented artist and an aspiring author. She was preceded in death by her father and one sister, Margaret Ann Beckman. Survivors include her husband, David Robert Wright; one son, Douglas Gierow and wife Sarah of Denver, Colorado; two brothers, Michael Kevin Gibson and wife Katherine of Seatle, Washington, and James Patrick Gibson and wife Sheila of Cripple Creek, Colorado; her mother, Frances Waite of Washington; two step brothers, Bobby Jack Spears and Bud Cox both of Lincoln; one Niece, Julie Beckman-Key of Austin, Texas. Family will receive friends on Thursday evening from 6:00-7:00 P.M. at Luginbuel Funeral Home. Funeral Service will be held Friday, September 21, 2012 - 10:00 A.M. at Luginbuel Chapel in Prairie Grove. Burial will be in Ganderville Cemetery in Summers, there will be no graveside services held at the cemetery.
