ROGERS -- John F. Whiteley, 84, of Rogers died Nov. 18, 2007, at his home. He was born May 27, 1923, to R.D. and Gertrude Kilgore Whiteley. He was a pastor in the Northwest Arkansas area for 36 years was a member of the First Baptist Church of Rogers. He was preceded in death by one son, Gary Whiteley. Survivors include his wife of 65 years, Dean, of the home; daughter-in-law, Jerry Ann Whiteley of Springdale; one son, Grady Whiteley and wife Teresa of Wesley; two daughters, Deanna Walker of Rogers, Melesa Daughterty and husband David of Rogers; eight grandchildren; 12 great-grandchildren. Services will be held at 10 a.m. Tuesday at Rollins Funeral Home. Burial will be in Dutch Mills Cemetery near Lincoln.
