Uriah and Nancy were married February 25, 1838, recorded in the Hickman Family Bible in possession of J.W. Ferrell of Poccopola, Union County, Mississippi. Uriah and Nancy moved from Alabama to Mississippi after 1840 and before 1850 and lived there until their deaths. Uriah is buried in the Owens Cemetery near Abbeville, Mississippi and Nancy is buried in Hopewell Cemetery in Lafayette County, Mississippi.
