Douglas Alan Munyon 33, a resident of Huntsville, Arkansas, passed away August 2, 2007 at his home near Huntsville. He was born June 9, 1974 at Fayetteville, Arkansas, the son of Bob and Patsy Pennel Munyon. Doug was a member of the Eureka Springs Masonic Lodge. Doug served twelve years as a Paramedic at the Eureka Springs Fire Department, Madison County EMS and Eagle Med. He was preceded in death by his grandparents Clarence and Veta Munyon, and Ernest Pennel. Survivors include his father and mother of Evansville, Arkansas; one son Brett Turner Munyon of the home; his sister, Joey Cox and her husband Kevin of Evansville, Arkansas; two nieces Brandy and Abby Cox; his Maternal Grandmother, Dorothy McComas; his uncles Jim and John Munyon, and Tom Pennel. Funeral Service will be held Saturday, August 4, 2007 - 7:00 P.M. in Bethesda Cemetery Pavilion near Morrow, Arkansas. Burial will follow in the Bethesda Cemetery. Pallbearers will be Jared Munyon, Michael Munyon, Josh Reed, Vance Patrick, Chris Brock, and Mark Hugdens. Honorary Pallbearers will be Captain Kevin Cox, and the members of the Eureka Springs Fire Department, Madison County EMS, and Eagle Med Air Ambulance. A Memorial Fund has be established at the Simmons First Bank, account # 5221587 for his son Brett. Arrangements are under the direction of the Luginbuel Funeral Home of Prairie Grove, Arkansas.
