ELVIN BROWN KILLED OCTOBER 6, 1945 OVER GERMANY West Fork, Jan. 22-(Special)-Elvin Brown, 22, previously reported missing in action, was killed over Germany October 6, the War Department yesterday notified his wife, Mrs. Rosa Hale Brown. He was a gunner on a Fly Fortree. The son of Mrs. George P. Brown of Wichita, Kan. formerly of West Fork. He was graduated from high school here in 1940.
