T H U R W , Minnie Elizabeth - (from The Prairie Grove Herald} The community was greatly shocked Wednesday morning when it was learned that Miss Minnie Elizabeth Thurman had died at 11 o’clock Tuesday night after an illness of three days with measles and other complications. The deceased was an only daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Brook Thurman of near Cincinnati and was a student in the Prairie Grove High School, having entered at the opening of the spring term. The remains were taken to her home Wednesday and the interment made in the Cincinnati grave yard at 3 o’clock Wednesday afternoon. [The Springdale News 2/25/1910]
