Herschel Dan Ramey, 80, of Van Buren, Arkansas died Wednesday, January 31, 1996, at a local hospital. He was retired owner of Ramey Trash Service and a member of the Shamrock Community Church. Survivors include his wife; one daughter Mary Ellen; one stepdaughter, Bobbie; one son; one stepson; four sisters, Tressie, Shirley; Vesta, and Edna; 15 grandchildren and several great-grandchildren. Funeral service was held at 2:30 p.m. Saturday at Ocker Memorial Chapel. Burial was at Hall Cemetery under the direction of Ocker Funeral Home. Pallbearers were his grandsons.
