Mary LaVon Thomas 86 a resident of Prairie Grove, went to be with her Lord on January 23, 2016 surrounded by her family. She was born May 6, 1929 in El Dorado, Oklahoma, the daughter of Virgil Allen and Lela Ruth Moorehead Bradley. Mary was a member of the Church of Christ in Prairie Grove. She was preceded in death by her husband of 67 years Oris Clyde Thomas, her parents, two brothers Calvin Bradley and Vernon Bradley, one sister Vernel Bradley and her mother and father-in-law Jim and Buna Thomas. Survivors include one son, Ken Thomas and wife Donna of Prairie Grove; one daughter, Gwen Horne and husband Travis also of Prairie Grove; five grandchildren, Jason Thomas of Siloam Springs, Caleb Thomas and wife Raeven of Paragould, Sharalee Coughran and husband Randy, Sarah Bailey and husband Champ, and Gena Knight and husband Kevin all of Prairie Grove; fifteen great grandchildren; Myah, Kamrynn, Blake, Austin, Aiden, Abigail, Madison, Micah, Braden, Cale, Alaina, Darbie, Beau, Malachi and Elijah; one brother Loyd Bradley and wife Darlene of Roseburg, Oregon, and one sister-in-law Lorene Bradley of Prairie Grove. The family will receive friends on Monday evening from 6:00-7:00 P.M. at Luginbuel Funeral Home. Funeral service will be held Tuesday, January 26, 2016 - 10:00 A.M. at the Church of Christ in Prairie Grove.
